Welcome to Newman & Bright – Home of Bespoke Sofas and Chairs
We are bespoke manufacturers of high-quality sofa suites based in Manchester. As one of the few remaining upholstery workshops in the North West, we can tailor our sofas to our customers’ needs and are small enough to give genuine care and attention to individual orders.
We are also unique in having designed and developed a complete range of models based on the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements of the 1920s & 1930s.
We work closely with our customers to provide for their specific needs, and our end goal is always to ensure they are completely happy with the product we deliver to them.

The Gatsby Show Wood
The Gatsby Show-wood Art Deco Suite is made with finely finished wood veneers and with a more elaborate process of fixings than the standard model. It is available in conjunction with all our fabrics and leathers.

Made by Hand
We make our sofas on site, using high quality local materials, so having complete control of the manufacturing process to fulfil the specific requirements of our customers.
